The tourists are coming – let's make a plan

Together with Stine Jacobi, we discuss what the cities of the future will look like when the national growth targets for tourism are reached? The ambitious regional strategies are in place, but there are no concrete proposals for, how tourism “takes place” - and how it takes shape. Therefore, there is a need, across the municipal boundaries, to begin to look at how tourism strategies is rooted in municipal planning so that tourism growth will benefit both citizens and visitors. For the tourists will come and it requires a plan both in the big cities and along the coasts.

KLAXON, Artist creates urbanity

Today artists are thus a lot more involved in designing urban space, and not only in discussing where to place a sculpture. The book Swim City renders the experience of swimming in Swiss rivers tangible and shows how it developed historically, what form it takes today and its relevance in creating cities that are worth living in.
