Urban Lab, Kiel - cityconsultant
UrbCulturalPlanning’s next Urban Lab will take place in Kiel the 24th to 25th February, 2020. The project partners have organized a two-day international Urban Lab on the theme creative bureaucracy. The aim of the Urban Lab is to explore opportunities for creating a more sustainable city. The two-day Urban Lab will address local actors from Kiel’s political and administrative departments, international participants and other interested such as city planners, artists, scientists, students and activists.

Bodø, Norway - cityconsultant
Together with Asplan Viak and DRMA I am doing a parallel assignment as one out of three teams. We will develop a new sustainable neighborhood at the existing airport in Bodø, Norway.
Bodø is facing a huge change when today's airport is to be moved about 1 km in 2022. Today's military airport is being moved to Ørlandet. The move opens for the construction of a downtown neighborhood with 15,000 homes and 20,000 jobs.
The municipality has very high ambitions and is working to develop a sustainable district based on smart city, smart health, the zero emission program - Zero emmision neighboorhood (ZEN) and much more. Bodø is in an exciting development and in 2024 the city will be the European Capital of Culture.

Gadehavegaard, Denmark - jurymember
I will be a jurymember in a this competition running november 2019-marts 2020
Five advisory teams participate in the competition to come up with the best future plan for Gadehavegård and 54 affordable housing for old people . Plans should show what the entire area will look like by 2030 as well (and some change important issues for all residents) and what housing needs to be demolished or redeveloped.

Europan 15 is out in the public now and I will be a jurymember for Europan Nederland.
In Rotterdam five locations is proposed and all five have been designated 'high priority' development sites by the municipality.

An area from the 1960ies is going to transformed and this competition is within three different universities; Muthesius Kiel, Wismar and Buxtehude. Each of them working in different scales.
Latvian Landscape Award
The first landscape Award in Latvian will be given this year. I am so honoured to be a part of that.
